It was an absolute pleasure having Tim O’Brien help find the right house for us. Not only was he very responsive to questions and requests before we purchased our cabin, he has helped us long after with getting familiar with local contacts and any concerns that came up. Tim is a five-star guy. If you’re not familiar with the overall area and the real-estate landscape, you’ll find out over time that he’s the man. Knows everybody, can make things happen. He’s also a handshake person, we learned we can rely on his promises. The only reason I gave 4 stars on responsiveness is that as Bay-area people we had to get used to the slower pace (with everybody) in the area. But to Tim’s credit, he adjusted to our communication needs via cell-phone, text, email. And without his direct involvement (e.g., we had something to resolve with the building department in Quincy), things would have progress at a slower speed. Tim’s post-closure behavior is superior. He’s available for questions as you ramp up your newly acquired home, he provides contacts of the right people. All that is very helpful as at first you may not have any neighbors yet you can rely on, or bother with your issue. Tim fills that role. If you’re not local like us, such support matters a lot. We can highly recommend Tim and his support staff. Good people.

Tim O’Brien is about as good as you get in Real Estate Agents/ Brokers. He’s honest and realistic. And he has been in the area so long, he’s almost a native. We bought an older cabin at the lake and it wasn’t an easy transaction- Tim brought creative ideas to the table and in the end, everyone was happy. More professional credibility: Dogs in the office, lots of family helping out, organizes local charity events and a has mean golf swing! Work with him and you won’t be sorry.
