Does the Beanie Baby Collection Really Have To Go?

February 17, 2019 by cbko Leave a Comment

Store your favorite collectibles.

Yep. There are quite a few people out there who don’t get the same aesthetic pleasure from Beanie Babies as you and Aunt Bernie do.

Less is definitely more when showing your home for sale.  Decluttering your living areas is essential to presenting your home to the widest audience of buyers.

Go through your home, look at counters, windowsills, tables and dressers. Clear them off. Once you’ve done this, take a look inside of closets and cupboards. This is the perfect time to begin thinking about your move. Get rid of things in overflow areas of closets, those old tennis shoes you’ve been meaning to throw out. Straighten up cabinets. Get rid of things you don’t want to keep.  Clean out that junk drawer. Think about packing up the things you want to keep, and then give the rest away.

Believe it or not, buyers like to look in cupboards and closets to get a feel for the storage potential of your home.  If cupboards, drawers and closets look overcrowded, they might think there isn’t enough storage space in the house for their own stuff.

So, pack up those Beanie Babies and save them for another day.  And, if you have questions, just contact one of our AGENTS!
