Coldwell Banker TV ad campaign features voice of Tom Selleck
In its new television ad campaign, launched this week for the spring selling season, Coldwell Banker Real Estate is focusing on the deepest, most personal meanings of homeownership.
The new ads feature the voice of “Magnum P.I.” television star Tom Selleck, whose father had served as an executive with Coldwell Banker for 38 years. When Selleck found out he was selected for the ad campaign, he reportedly told his mother that he “was at last in the family business.”
“All we see is negativity in the market,” said Coldwell Banker Real Estate Chief Marketing Officer Michael Fischer. “People are putting their life on hold,” he said.

“No one’s talking about the positive aspect of homeownership.” That’s where Coldwell Banker wanted to be a leader, he said, to bring the industry’s conversation into the emotional, psychological realms of homeownership.

Merchant’s Night, A Holiday Tradition
Friday after Thanksgiving! Christmas Tree Lighting, a visit from Santa, Chester Merchant’s Open House, Music, laughter, family fun and an informal Light Parade!
November 25th brings holiday fun for family and friends. Chester merchants stay open with holiday goodies and sales. There will be bonfires, Christmas carols, the ABC Center Christmas Tree lighting, a visit from Santa and an informal light parade…a night for the whole family!
Merchant’s open their doors at 5 pm with goodies & sales. The Christmas Tree at the ABC Center will be lit at 5:30 with Santa arriving at 5:45.
Halloween, A Special Time For Kids & Chester Businesses!
Chester Businesses and Merchants open their doors and bowls of treats to our family of trick or treaters – young or gently old.
Merchant’s Safe Trick or Treat will take place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Monday, October 31. This year we are going to do a couple of things a little differently. We will be having a costume contest with three categories, creative, scary and cute. There will be cash prizes for 1st place in each category. Also a little portrait by Kim James, of each 1st place winner in costume.
There will a storefront scarecrow contest as well. The winner receives a photo shoot of their store from Kim James an article in the Chamber Newsletter and on our news ticker showcasing their business.
